I function in a incredibly rough and substantial energy invioroment and I have been through 12 watches in the past 8yrs, Then I got this Field Ops check out and 2yrs later on it's still going powerful and works good.I have been in mutiple fights at function with this view on, hunted in the snow and fishing in the ocean and this view is best for every thing.

Look at is really good and simple to function, but the casing is too weak and breaks easily. If would it be the band there would be no challenge, but when it brokes in the casing cannot be use any longer. It commonly last for 10 month with a each day wear.

I was issued this enjoy about 3 years back, I used it for one deployment to Iraq and it held up very good, and I had worn it when in a while for work, but not every day, mainly just teaching. I pulled out the check out tonight, I havent used in it about ten months, I went to place it on and recognized it was damaged. The two holes that have the band bolt as a result of it have been broken in fifty percent and the band really feel appropriate off. I was incredibly surprised, I had thought that the "High-density polycarbonate frame" would have been stronger and with the minimal use I wore it I would have even though the band would would break 1st, the body breaking shocked me. It look like to me it kinda "rotted" and weakened at that stage, then just broke when I went to put it on. Generally at least if a band breaks and I find approaches to attach the observe to my gear or get a new band but I cant do much with the view now. I do like this enjoy too, I would give this view a 4-5 star score if the frame wasn't easily broken like this. perhaps it was just mine although.

A number of many years back I purchased a area ops enjoy from a 511 supplier. The view was outfitted with the quick launch band that has been discontinued. A number of days later on I was involved in a waterborne operation, the fast launch disengaged and the see was missing in the ocean.
